Based at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, we have been studying landbird species at risk and and their habitats since 2010. The goal of our projects include identifying important breeding areas for these species, conserving their habitat, and engaging the public in stewardship of their habitat. In 2021, we started a collaborative project to develop and test beneficial management practices for these species in the working forests of Nova Scotia.
