Other Landbird SAR

Two other Landbird Species at Risk (SAR) that you should look out for in Nova Scotia are the Common Nighthawk and Chimney Swift. You may see them flying over forested wetlands or nearby lakes, rivers and streams. We areĀ  happy to accept observations of Common NIghthawks in addition to observations of Canada Warbler, Olive-sided Flycatcher, and Rusty Blackbird. Observations of Chimney Swifts should be reported to Bird Studies Canada as part of their SwiftWatch monitoring and conservation program.
